- Supervised trial team of associates, paralegals, and secretarial staff in conducting pleading, discovery, preliminary motion, and trial stage of numerous winning cases, including breach of contract, employment, and fraud jury trials.
- Oversaw internal investigations and responses to federal administrative agency labour and employment complaints, obtaining findings in favor of clients.
- Examined expert and fact witnesses, establishing key evidence prior to trial.
- Successfully argued pre-trial applications obtaining pre-trial dismissal of age discrimination, gender discrimination and whistleblower complaints.
- Worked as liaison between labour, pension plan and employer to develop and implement pension reform strategy.
- Supervised trial team of associates, paralegals, IT and secretarial staff on multi-million-dollar race, age and sex discrimination, and whistleblower suits.
- Conducted in-house investigation of fraud resulting in dismissal of employee’s discrimination lawsuit.
- Examined surprise adverse witness in national origin discrimination and whistleblower employment case, getting witness to admit lack of knowledge of basis of claims.
